Flu Vaccinations 2015

This year’s Flu clinics have started. Please contact a member of our Reception Team to make an appointment. We are offering Saturday mornings as well as mid week clinics. Appointments are also available to book online. Please note that these are 2 minute appointments and are for flu vaccinations ONLY.

This vaccination is particularly recommended for patients aged 65+ (including those who will be 65 by 31stMarch 2014) or patients with the following medical conditions:-

  • Asthma
  • Diabetes
  • Angina/Heart condition
  • Cancer
  • Chronic kidney disease
  • Chronic liver disease
  • Chronic neurological disease (such as Parkinson’s disease or motor neurone disease)
  • On Dialysis
  • Also patient’s taking Immunosuppressant medication (including steroids, methotrexate and azathioprine)
  • All pregnant women (including those who become pregnant during the flu season)
  • Patients who are in receipt of carer’s allowance, or those who are the main carer of an older or disable person whose welfare may be at risk if the carer falls ill.

If you do not fit into the above categories, you will need to arrange to have the vaccination privately
